Cookie Pie & D-I-Y

 We will start with a throwback from Kay's 21st birthday & our first bingo experience:

We have been busy bee's taking pictures for proms/seniors/cheer and we couldn't be happier about it:

 I have been busy doing D-I-Y projects, you know the tile that was never finished? Well, lets just say when you wait 2 years to finish a tile project & realize you don't have enough tile, and Home Depot no longer carries that tile, you've got to get creative.

I am sure loving the boyfriends tool box these days:

 

I have also realized that toilets are very heavy.  I was super excited to accomplish taking the toilet out, doing the floor & putting the toilet back in (with the wax ring and all!) before the boyfriend got home:

 Somehow, between the chaos of work, projects, chores & trying to exercise more, I've had time to bake these beauties:

You can find the recipe HERE - if you are brave you can make your own pie crust and filling, which is what I usually do, but when life is this busy, taking a short cut is the best thing a girl can do.

Time to get back to the flooring!

Weird, we both officially started dating our boyfriends just a few days apart & it's safe to say we are totally head over heels:

They treat us pretty well & can even handle our crazy, that's a big deal.

Prom

We are well past the age of prom goers, but we most definitely still participate in prom festivities any chance we get. We split up & conquered two proms, we couldn't pass up the chance to send off our "littles," for 2 of 3 of them, it's their last prom.

Spring is finally here!

We took the littlest sister prom dress shopping:

 Made a new wreath for the door:

 Made some homemade apple pie (delish)

 Jake met the Andreas Ranch chickens for the first time:

Our grandparents 45th Anniversary:

So we did something special, we went to the church where they were married and took their pictures.

What an inspiration, to see a couple together 45 years and still, so in love.
